An intentional canvas for everyone
Stop filing your ideas away to die.
Lean into a tactile, distraction-free environment. Treat ideas as lightweight, movable shapes that gather meaning through their spatial proximity and fluid connections to other thoughts.
Traditional tools are built for filing, not thinking.
The mind doesn’t work in neat rows, nested folders, or rigid text documents. It works in clusters, patterns, and sudden spatial leaps.
Yet, the second a raw insight arrives, modern software demands immediate administration: Name the file. Select the folder. Tag the category.
This instant cognitive friction kills the creative spark before it can even breathe. Folders become dark archives where good ideas are buried and forgotten.
Resonance understands how minds actually operate. A tool that values cognitive ergonomics over digital bureaucracy.
Micro-Capture
The Micro-Capture UI
Capture a thought in a few words, 60 characters or less and move on. No folders, no tags, no pressure to explain yourself. Just get it out of your head and onto the canvas.
Fluid Canvas
The Fluid 2D Canvas
An infinite, distraction-free environment where ideas are physical objects. No rigid grids or fixed parent-child trees—just a tactile space where thoughts are free to drift, collide, and connect.
Ambient Loop
The Ambient Loop
Older ideas come back when you're already working, not when an app demands your attention. What you captured before can sit alongside what you're thinking about today.

Big impact - love this app!
This app allows me to connect ideas, offers me a great way to “park” thoughts, and even put some thoughts to the back of my mind. If something is living rent free in my head, I can just put it to rest here. I have far less mind clutter now. Worth the few dollars it cost. Big impact! Great app.

Frequently asked questions
- Is Resonance a subscription?
- No. Resonance is a one-time purchase: £3.99 with no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no recurring fees. You buy it once on the App Store and use it on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
- Does Resonance sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac?
- Yes, optionally. Resonance supports optional iCloud sync so your canvas can stay in step across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Sync is not required. Your thoughts remain on your device if you prefer. Requires iOS 17+, iPadOS 17+, and macOS 13+ (Apple Silicon) on Mac.
- Is my data stored on your servers?
- No. Resonance has no developer servers. Your canvas stays on your device and, if you enable it, in your personal iCloud account. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
- Who is Resonance for?
- Resonance is for anyone who wants to capture ideas without having to think about where they belong. Instead of forcing thoughts into files, folders, or complex tagging systems, it lets you organise ideas visually and rediscover them as your thinking evolves.
- How is this different from folder-based note apps?
- Folder-based apps ask you to name, file, and organise every idea before it is fully formed. Resonance treats ideas as lightweight, movable shapes on an infinite canvas. You capture in brief (60 characters), cluster by proximity, connect fluidly, and let meaning emerge spatially. An Ambient Loop gently surfaces older thoughts instead of aggressive notifications.
- What’s new in version 1.1?
- Resonance 1.1 adds a native Mac App Store build with trackpad pinch-to-zoom, two-finger pan, keyboard shortcuts, and menu bar commands. It’s the same £3.99 purchase as iPhone and iPad. If you previously used the iPad-on-Mac copy, delete it and install the Mac App Store version for the best experience.
